Organisation and management: responsible for success

A company of our size requires structures - as many as necessary but as few as possible, because the most important element of our organisation is individual responsibility. For us, management essentially means responsibility - something to which our managers pay particular attention. Everyone who consciously takes responsibility is a manager - of a plant, a department, a project or simply their own activities.

It is our Management Board who bears great responsibility - also to encourage, motivate and empower employees:

Alfred Weber, President & CEO

Dipl.-Kfm. Alfred Weber holds a diploma in business economics from the University of Munich. Before joining MANN+HUMMEL in January 2010, Alfred Weber worked in the USA for the automotive component supplier BorgWarner as President of different business units.

Filiz Albrecht, Chief Human Resources Officer

Business law graduate Filiz Albrecht obtained an MBA from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, USA and began here career in 1999 with an SME within the automotive supplier industry. In 2006, she joined Erbslöh Aktiengesellschaft as Head of Personnel and Legal Affairs before moving to MANN+HUMMEL in 2011. Here, she initially managed the Human Resources Department at the German locations within the Group, before assuming responsibility for the Group-wide Human Resources activities as a member of the extended Management Board in 2012.

Hansjörg Herrmann, Chief Operations Officer

Following vocational training as a tooling technician, graduate engineer Hansjörg Herrmann studied mechanical engineering at Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. Since the beginning of his professional career, Herrmann has remained faithful to the automotive industry. During a foreign assignment in the US for his then employer, BorgWarner, he obtained an MBA at Duke University. In 2011, the dedicated long-distance runner joined MANN+HUMMEL as Manager of the German plants. In spring 2015, he additionally assumed responsibility for the plants in the European region.

Kai Knickmann, President & General Manager Automotive OEM

Kai Knickmann has a degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in combustion engines and automotive technology, from Braunschweig University of Technology. In 1999 he started his professional career with MANN+HUMMEL, initially in the US, before key positions in the Development department in Germany. From 2007 until 2010, Kai Knickmann was Managing Director for MANN+HUMMEL (UK) in Great Britain. In May 2010, he was appointed to the expanded Management Board and until March 2016 served as Group Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive OEM business unit, for which he is also now responsible in the function of President & General Manager.

Josef Parzhuber, President & General Manager Automotive Aftermarket

Josef Parzhuber graduated from Passau University with a degree in business studies and learned business Chinese in Beijing. In 2011, he took over as MANN+HUMMEL's Group Vice President of the Water Filtration business unit. From 2012 to 2016, he worked in Singapore as Group Vice President and CEO for MANN+HUMMEL Asia Pacific. In March 2016, he was appointed as a member of the Management Board and assumed global responsibility for the Automotive Aftermarket business unit.

Emese Weissenbacher, President & CFO

Emese Weissenbacher has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with MANN+HUMMEL. The graduate in Business Administration has been in the company since 1994. Having held various positions in different departments she was last acting as Group Vice President Europe for seven plants and was responsible for about 3,000 employees in Europe.
