Product Manager – Original Equipment Digitalization

    Your challenge

    • Develop digitalization strategy and roadmap of Original Equipment business unit
    • Develop market opportunity analysis and monitor market trends for growth opportunities
    • Perform SWOT and other market and competitor analysis methods to develop business plan and offer strategy
    • Derive OE as well as end user requirements for an end-to-end digital offering and solution
    • Define digital offer and solution vision and manage digital portfolio roadmap
    • Define customer value proposition of products and digital services in consideration of OE industry segments and product groups
    • Define pricing strategies and manage global framing for target key accounts and and/or industry segments  to ensure coherent OE approach
    • Evaluate legal aspects, frameworks, data share contracts for testing, pilot and series phases
    • Bring awareness of market needs and digitalization requirements to internal functions, e.g. sales, marketing, engineering and work closely with the other global product managers, IoT expert group, advanced technology, etc. to make the vision a reality
    • Monitor development of all standards and market trends and provide inputs to R&D/Legal for patent screening process and intellectual property rights protection
    • Give input to sales business planning and facilitate agreement between sales demand and product availability. Monitor impact of the digital offer on global sales target fulfillment and take action as appropriate
    • Initiate and drive market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation
    • Track digital offer success against metrics and goals and escalate potential risks and issues
    • Initiate creation of digital offer training modules

    Your profile


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Business Informatics


    • 2-5 years of professional experience in product management with digital products
    • Experience in agile development methods especially Scrum
    • Expertise working in cross functional teams

    Required Skills:

    • Market and industry knowledge preferably in off-highway machinery / industry or automotive industry
    • Strong understanding of the user perspectives and representation of Original Equipment and customer interests in the ongoing projects
    • Strong analytic capabilities
