    An exciting opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer of automotive, industrial and aftermarket components has arisen here at MANN+HUMMEL (UK) Ltd.

    We are seeking a Controlling Manager to join our successful Finance & Controlling team in Featherstone, Wolverhampton.

    Your challenge

    Reporting into the Finance & Controlling Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the Controlling team here in the UK. The responsibilities of the position include:

    • Managing, coordinating and executing a timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting process;
    • Preparing the Monthly Review Meetings and providing management reports and analysis showing the company performance;
    • Managing, coordinating and executing a timely and accurate forecasting and budgeting process;
    • Actively managing the P+L and defining countermeasures for deviations from profit targets - identifying risks and consequently eliminating them thereafter;
    • Ensuring all departments work within the budget set and provide cost effective resource planning;
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards for audit purposes;
    • Controlling of Capex;
    • Ensure accurate standard cost calculations complying with Group standards;
    • Undertake projects on behalf of the company’s senior leadership whenever requested.

    Your profile

    With a competitive salary on offer plus attractive benefits including a generous holiday entitlement and pension, this position is suited to someone with at least 3 years in a similar role, who is a qualified accountant (complete with an advanced finance qualification) and knowledge of SAP modules, particularly CO + FI.

    You must be proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to present confidently and professionally. An understanding of the manufacturing/automotive industries is a plus.
