Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

    The Maintenance Technician must be able to repair, install, replace and maintain both mechanical and electrical equipment. He/She will also diagnose equipment failure and make repairs to equipment per manufacture recommendations and / or appropriate instructions.

    Your challenge

    • Interpret and apply specifications such as drawings, schematics, ladder logic etc.
    • Must have PLC programming, trouble shooting and computer skills.
    • Maintain appropriate records such as work orders, timesheets etc.
    • Repairs defective parts in compliance with O.S.H.A., State and Local codes.
    • Must maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area and participate in shop clean-up schedules and projects.
    • Operate all maintenance equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
    • Must assist in the building of new equipment and fixtures as required.
    • Must be able to work independently as well as lead a team. Must provide direction and guidance to the Fabrication Zone Maintenance Department (all shifts)

    Your profile


    • High School Diploma or G.E.D. and successful completion of an Industrial maintenance program or related program certification or diploma


    • Training and /or experience with hydraulics and machining.

    Required Skills:

    • Have basic knowledge of O.S.H.A., State and Local electrical codes.

    Preferred Skills:

    • A minimum of two years mechanical and electrical experience  
    • Completion of a one-year industrial electrician course
