Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Buyer

    Contract type

    The MRO Buyer will be responsible for purchasing, receiving, distributing and maintaining repair parts inventory, safety supplies, various production supplies, process support supplies, janitorial supplies.

    Your challenge

    • Perform weekly inventory cycle counts
    • Assist maintenance department with outside services coordination
    • Develop plans for inventory improvements for accuracy and cost.
    • Coordinate with other maintenance leadership to organize resources for PM activities.
    • Performs activities in a positive and professional manner.
    • Maintains an acceptable attendance record to ensure timely work completion.
    • Must have knowledge of and adhere to the current Quality and Environmental Systems requirements that relate to this job.
    • Performs other job related duties as assigned..

    Your profile


    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.


    • At least 2 years of experience working in a purchasing role ordering spare parts.
    • SAP Purchasing Module experience

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management
