Sales Key Account Manager – Industrial Filtration


    Your challenge

    • Responsible for the relationship and business development of the assigned customer(s)
    • Customers are in industries including but not limited to: Construction and Agriculture
    • Implement the global business unit and customer strategy while also fulfilling the objectives required by the local organization
    • Strong ability to identify and create value proposition to drive customer acquisition
    • Acquire new business through regular interface with customer purchasing, engineering, and other functional areas
    • Promote awareness of existing and new MANN+HUMMEL (M+H) products and technologies
    • Performs sales forecasting activities, analyzes market to determine customer needs and price levels
    • Represents Company at trade association meetings and other events
    • Develop the business in accordance with group plans and targets
    • Define and execute a customer strategy as an integral part of the group and strategic plan
    • Coordinate and set-up regular customer review meetings such as business/project reviews, management meetings, etc.
    • Develop pricing, prepare quotations, and define pricing principles in coordination with related Key Account Managers at M+H locations worldwide
    • Negotiate Long Term Agreements, Warranty Agreements and contracts in coordination with M+H locations worldwide
    • Manage customer performance ratings with regard to delivery, quality and cost (for all sites involved).
    • Ensure proper communication globally regarding general customer issues (e.g. Quality Status)
    • Provide input for yearly planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly sales projections
    • Demonstrate strong critical analysis and planning skills in reviewing data, understanding trends and preparing/executing customer sales plans
    • Up to 50% travel required, both international and domestic. Maximum of 70% travel first year.

    Your profile


    • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or a related field.


    • Three years related experience in a sales or customer facing position to Original Equipment Manufacturers in the passenger car, off-highway and/or mobile equipment industry.
    • Strong experience with a multi-product portfolio

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to influence decision makers
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in international business dealings preferred
    • SAP and Salesforce a plus
