Your challenge

The Account Manager serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers.

  • Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities - both within existing customers, as well as new customers. 
  • Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and AR performance.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities.
  • Serves as the primary managerial contact for OE/ OES filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as the all appropriate organizations within M+H are effectively managed.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally of M+H organization in support of key projects.
  • Account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers.

Your profile

Education:

  • BS in Engineering or other technical and business related field

Experience: 

  • 5-10 years’ experience in Sales and/or Category Management

Required Skills:

  • Strong financial and analytical background
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Independent thinking and self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to effectively participate in larger groups
  • Strong technical background and varied product experience
  • Successful sales experience in the development of new products and markets
  • Ability to aggressively represent company while maintaining excellent relationship with customer base

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

  • Multilingual in German
  • Background/experience in filtration(engineering, manufacturing, sales)
