Material Planner

• Measure and improve Supply Chain metrics such as customer order fill and inventory days on hand.
• Investigate reoccurring order fill and inventory issues, analyze root causes, and provide solutions.
• Continuously maintain demand and supply to optimize inventory levels.
• Create and maintain forecasts using GAINS production optimization software.
• Verify material information in SAP and GAINS including new parts, master data, and part availability.
• Communicate proactively with operations, purchasing, and planning to facilitate effective inventory flow.
• Perform analysis and make recommendations on minimum order quantities, safety stocks, and excess/obsolete inventory.
