The Manufacturing Supervisor will plan, manage and coordinate all production activities within a MANN+HUMMEL production shift and is responsible for delivering overall production performance in alignment with the MANN+HUMMEL standards while meeting or exceeding manufacturing KPI’s. He/she will supervise all employees in areas of responsibility and actively participate in the production process and activities.

Your challenge

  • Ensure the quality approval of the products by the Quality Inspectors/Supervisors and implement corrective actions in case of deviations, control if the corrective measures are effectively applied.
  • Implement, coordinate and control the accuracy, cleanliness and the order of the production area/activities (e.g., manage GEMBA Walks, ensure the 5S Process (zoning), implement the Production Basics, ensure the execution of the cleaning schedule, etc.).
  • Ensure that the machines and technical equipment are properly used and maintained.
  • Manage/execute the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Process, control for loss and/or damages of the machines and equipment, ensure the repair/maintenance service.
  • Coordinate and control the set-up processes in accordance with the pre-defined schedule.
  • Manage the plant and machine safety, ensure that all safety requirements, sustainability issues and legal regulations are fulfilled.
  • Ensure and maintain all records as per ISO 14001 / TS 16949 / MES Standards.
  • Manage the employees´ safety by conducting health management events/workshops.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed, provide job assignments and recommendations to the employees, ensure the training of the new employees.

Your profile

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.


Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Must have flexibility to be available for all three shifts as needed.


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with SAP ERP.
  • Technical knowledge of MANN+HUMMEL products.
