Your challenge

Management Reporting

  • Proper upkeep and preparation of full set of books, P&L statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow in accordance with local and international standards
  • Accurate, timely and value-added financial reporting in compliance with Singapore laws to MANN+HUMMEL Germany headquarter (IFRS)
  • Support Local, Business Units, Global LSE Functions and Germany Headquarter Management with necessary financial information, reports and analysis
  • Monthly Review Meeting on the performance of the company with Management from Regional, and Business Units Head.
  • Monitor the achievement of financial objectives. Initiate corrective actions and follow up when necessary
  • To lead CAPEX process and monitor requests

Statutory Reporting

  • Strict compliance with all statutory/regulatory Local requirements and MANN+HUMMEL corporate guidelines/governance policies (IFRS and Group Policies)
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax audits, liaise with external or internal auditors


  • Tax filing under direct/indirect taxes (e.g. income tax, goods & services tax) and ensure timely submission
  • Make provision for taxes and authorizes payment of tax dues
  • Singapore Holding responsible for keeping documentation support for the IC / Holding Taxes
  • Lead locally the implementation of the new Transfer Price Methodology for LSE, pass through the Holding in Singapore

 Governmental Subsidies / Relationship

  • Contact with local/ governmental bodies for possibilities of subsidies

  Financial Planning

  • Participation in and preparation of annual group planning and timely forecast reports
  • Responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to drive optimal decision making

Business Partner

  • Safeguard the realization of the Business Plan (financial plan), make together with the Business Head necessary corrections in order to achieve planned results.
  • Provide detailed analysis of Variances and abnormalities during the course of the monthly

Internal Controls and Credit Control

  • Interacts with Functional heads to seek clarification on financial information, provide financial data, credit assessment and improve credit control
  • Prioritize and allocate funds to various departments based on set guidelines/approvals and ensures implementation of control procedures

ERP System

  • Lead the Finance definition of process and implementation of the ERP System for the Holding
  • Leadership within area of responsibility
  • To effectively lead and manage the functions Controlling, Finance/Accounting / Tax and the employees of these departments
  • Guide, motivate and develop the direct reports


  • Participates in preparation of business strategies and provides financial inputs and advice on feasibility and implementation
  • Ensure sufficient maintenance of funds and cash flow

Your profile


  • 5 years’ experience in finance area, 3 years leadership, knowledge on Singapore law/ tax and statutory requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Skills: Leadership, entrepreneurship, highly analytical thinking, effective solution of problems and conflicts, IT (MS Office, ERP System), IFRS, Fluent English, German language skill beneficial
  • Qualification: University/MBA with financial background
  • Experience: 5 years’ experience in finance area, 3 years leadership
  • Competencies: Business acumen, priority setting, conflict management, drive for results, command skills, decision quality, building effective teams, motivating others

Foreign language/Computer ability

  • Fluent in both written and oral English.
  • Good at MS software
