Job Description

Role Summary

As a Key Account Manager Sales Mobility (m/f/d), you will manage and grow key European accounts while actively driving new business across segments such as large engines, transmissions, material handling, marine, and rail. With strong technical understanding and a hunter mindset, you identify opportunities, lead customer discussions, and shape mid- and long‑term strategies.
 
The role involves frequent customer travel and close collaboration with cross‑functional and global teams to secure profitable growth and strengthen our market position.

Your Responsibilities

  • Key account responsibility for customers, for example from the large engine, material handling, transmission, marine, or rail vehicle sectors
  • Development and implementation of global customer strategies
  • Strategic sales planning and business development to support growth in line with European and global objectives
  • Acquisition of new customers and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Management of quotations during tender processes
  • Ensuring profitable growth in accordance with the strategy (nominated business volume, profitability of acquired business, and hit rate)
  • Managing sales activities for the assigned customer base – existing or new – and fostering positive, long-term business relationships
  • Supporting subsidiaries within the global Key Account Management framework and close collaboration with all relevant internal departments, e.g., in new business
  • acquisition and development projects
  • Ensuring long-term customer loyalty in series and service business
  • Technical and commercial responsibility for the assigned customers
  • Monitoring market and competitive developments
  • Ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the sales organization

Your Profile:

  • Education: Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of solid experience in sales, preferably within the industrial market segment
  • Expertise:
    • Experience in technical sales or engineering
    • Ideally strong knowledge in filtration and/or the market segments large engines, material handling, transmissions, marine, or rail vehicles
  • Language Skills: Fluent and business-proficient German and English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Personality: 
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict management skills
    • Strong assertiveness, confident demeanor, and ability to work in a team
    • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
