New Leadership for MANN+HUMMEL’s Air Filtration and Water Membrane Solutions Business
Eric Steinbecher to be President Life Sciences & Environment with effect from June 1st, 2026

Ludwigsburg, May 21, 2026 – Effective June 1, 2026, MANN+HUMMEL has appointed Eric Steinbecher as President Life Sciences & Environment (LS&E). In this role, he will be responsible for MANN+HUMMEL’s global Air Filtration and Water & Membrane Solutions businesses and will report directly to Kurk Wilks, President and CEO of the MANN+HUMMEL Group.
Until Eric Steinbecher assumes his new position on June 1, 2026, Kurk Wilks will lead the division on an interim basis.
Eric Steinbecher brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience across multiple sectors, with a strong track record in profitable growth, business transformation, and building high-performing global teams.
Most recently, Steinbecher held the position of President of Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Americas at Schaeffler Group, where he successfully led a significant business transformation – driving substantial profitable growth.
Earlier in his career, Steinbecher served in several senior global roles at Schaeffler, including President Global Strategy & Business Development and Global Vice President of Strategic Planning & Pricing. Prior to joining Schaeffler, he held leadership roles at Benteler Maschinenbau, where he led a global Business Unit for 3D optical measuring systems, and at Visteon, focusing on strategy and business development across Europe and South America.

Eric Steinbecher succeeds Henk in ’t Hof, who is leaving the company to pursue career opportunities outside MANN+HUMMEL.
