Role Summary
The Apprenticeship 321 program in collaboration with Gaston College provides an alternative to traditional higher education for those who enjoy working with their hands, are interested in careers in a STEM-related field, or want to continue working full-time while learning.
Main Tasks
Practical Part | MANN+HUMMEL Allen Plant | ~80%
- Fast Paced Production
- Large pressing operations
- Team concept to innovation
- Opportunity to define maintenance support tasks and procedures
- Regular exchange with experienced Mentor to discuss feedback / progress
Theoretical Part | Gaston College |~20%
- Maintenance Procedures
- Industrial Safety
- Technical classes (Welding, Wiring, Hydraulics / Pneumatics, etc.)

Your Profile
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma
- Good knowledge of scientific subjects as well as interest in technical contexts
- Hands on mentality, mechanical aptitude
- Team spirit, commitment, motivation, and flexibility
- Must be willing to work all three shifts
