Role Summary

Job Title: TPM Coordinator
Location: Dunlap, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

 

The TPM Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts through detailed planning, scheduling, and administrative execution. This role is critical in keeping our maintenance department aligned, organized, and efficient. It requires strong skills in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office, as well as a customer service mindset to coordinate between internal teams.

Main Tasks

  • Develop and issue weekly/monthly PM schedules and audit maintenance activities for completeness.

  • Create and revise PM plans to improve KPI performance, including equipment uptime and maintenance cost reduction.

  • Analyze equipment data by cost center to reduce Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and drive reliability improvements.

  • Apply reliability tools such as FMEA, RCM, RCA, and Pareto analysis to optimize maintenance strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with maintenance plans and procedures, with a focus on auditability and performance consistency.

  • Support and promote employee involvement in Safety Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and other continuous improvement programs.

  • Identify and implement waste reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.

  • Lead and support 5S activities in maintenance and plant-wide areas.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Technical associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent relevant experience will be accepted

  • 5–7 years of experience in maintenance planning, coordination, or scheduling.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong SAP experience required; familiarity with Sigga is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and customer service mindset when working with cross-functional teams
  • Exposure to or participation in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S initiatives preferred

  • Automotive or filtration industry experience a plus
