Job Description
Main Tasks
- Team Lead position manages and leads a team to ensure outgoing freight created by production floor demands are met within a timely manner. Performs the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
- Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
Your Profile
Provides leadership, coordinates workloads and provides support to ensure the team delivers
Ensures team members have clear defined roles as well as individual goals to be accomplished daily/weekly
Regularly reviews work processes for areas of improvement and collaborates with supervisor to provide adequate training and feedback
Responsible for maintaining efficiencies and team measureables through lean manufacturing principles, human resources planning, and flexibility
Monitors issues, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Ensures staff are informed of and trained in safe practices and procedures in their specific areas of work
Ensures equipment is programed and running according to standards
